Two ways to request deletion

From the Tikipik app: open Settings → Account → Delete my account, then confirm. The request is recorded immediately, with no action needed on our side.

Without installing the app: write to contact@tikipik.com from the email address linked to your Tikipik account, with the subject “Account deletion”. If the sending address does not match the account, proof of identity may be requested before the request is processed (Article 12.6 GDPR).

30-day grace period

The account is first deactivated, then permanently deleted 30 days after the request. This window lets you change your mind: sign back into the app during that period and cancel the request, or write to us. After that, deletion is automatic and irreversible.

A request sent by email is handled as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month of receipt (Article 12.3 GDPR). The same 30-day grace period then applies.

What is deleted

Your account and profile (name, email address, avatar, preferences), your creations and layouts, every photo you imported, your albums and share links, your notifications, your access tokens for third-party photo services (Google Photos, Dropbox), and your customer record with our payment provider Stripe. This data is erased from our databases and file storage.

What is kept, and why

Your orders and invoices are kept, but anonymised: your name, detailed delivery address, email and phone number are stripped from them. Only accounting and tax elements remain — amounts, taxes, products, dates, invoice number, and the geographic area (city, postcode, country) required for VAT purposes.

This retention is a legal obligation, not a commercial choice: accounting records must be kept for ten years (Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code) and invoices for six years for tax purposes (Article L102 B of the French Tax Procedures Code). The right to erasure does not apply to data whose retention is required by law (Article 17.3.b GDPR).
